In ancient Norway, a girl named Magna grew up as a slave. One day, she endured cruel punishment for attempting to escape, resulting in her being blinded by her master. During her captivity, she formed a bond with Anvindr, a raven previously owned by a Vala, a seeress. Anvindr grants Magna the ability to see through his eyes and gives her the hieghtened senses of a raven. Bound to the raven's malevolent magic, ancient power courses through Magna, transforming her into a vessel of darkness. She uses this magic to gain strength to become a relentless and ruthless warrior.
